Day 1 – Arrival
Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time – the day is at your leisure to adjust your Jet lag.
Day 2 – Best of Taipei
At the start of our tour, we’ve planned an exciting itinerary to uncover Taipei’s top attractions: Explore the famous National Palace Museum, enjoy the panoramic view from Taipei 101 Observatory, witness the ceremonial Changing of the Guard at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and soak in the lively night markets where you can indulge in tasty Taiwanese street food and shop for souvenirs. Immerse yourself in Taipei’s vibrant culture and deep-rooted history on this immersive city tour.
Day 3 – Charming Yehliu and Shifen
We’re excited to visit Yehliu’s famous Queen’s Head, marveling at Taiwan’s distinctive coastal geology. Then, head to Shifen, where you can experience making and releasing sky lanterns, inscribed with your wishes. Join us for an unforgettable journey blending natural wonders with cultural experiences.
Day 4 – Let Us Make Some New Friends: Visit Local School
Visit local senior high schools and engage with local students, forming new friendships while learning and practicing Chinese together during the program.
Day 5 – Lohas Yilan
The tour today begins with a visit to National Center for Traditional Arts, where students can explore various traditional arts, including experience indigo dyeing. Next, we head to a scallion farm to experience making scallion pancakes. This tour is crafted to enrich students’ cultural understanding and hands-on experiences in Yilan.
Day 6 – Adventure in an indigenous tribe – Experience the Hunter’s Life
Learn traditional survival skills from hunters themselves in the mountains, gaining insights into tribal culture and the wisdom of living in harmony with nature. And of course, savor the most authentic indigenous cuisine.
Day 7 – Taichung
Taichung is the birthplace of bubble tea. We will visit Chun Shui Tang, the original shop where bubble tea was invented, and learn how to make this iconic drink. Additionally, we’ll tour the most beautiful architectural gem in Taichung, the National Taichung Theater. Exploring the delightful snacks of Taichung is a must-do, with a visit to Fengjia Night Market to experience the innovative local cuisine.
Day 8 – Sun Moon Lake
In addition to boating on the lake, we will also explore the beautiful Sun Moon Lake from different perspectives by cycling. One of the most famous local products at Sun Moon Lake is its black tea, so we will learn about the tea-making process and blend our own tea bags to suit our preferred flavors.
Day 9 – Lukang and Local Fishing Village
Day 10 – Departure and See You Next Time
Your journey is coming to an end. You will be taken to Taoyuan International Airport to prepare for your return to your warm home.
