Story of Beitou: Beitou Hot Spring Museum
Once the biggest public baths in East Asia, the historical public bathhouse was built in 1913 during the Japanese Colonial era. Today, this building is transformed into a popular cultural museum where guests can still view the combination of Victorian and Japanese style architecture, and get a glimpse of the rich Japanese onsen culture that has existed for over a century.

8000 Years of History in a 12 Year Span: National Palace Museum
A museum with an impressive collection of appealing treasures and valuable antiques. If you’re traveling with kids and wish to obtain an overall understanding of the 8000 years of Chinese history, a custom audio guide service for adults or kids age 10 to 14 is available. All exhibit pieces are changed every season. It takes a visitor 12 years to see the entire collection, meaning a total of 650,000 items is collected under one roof.

Oasis in the Bustling City: Enjoy Hot Spring at Beitou Garden Spa
Famous home of hot springs in the Taipei area, Beitou is the most convenient area for travelers visiting Taipei to enjoy authentic hot springs. The area is filled with various public baths. At Beitou Garden Spa, you can choose a pool with the most comfortable temperature and experience immediate relaxation. Guests are reminded to wear a bathing suit for hygiene purposes.

Thermal Valley: The Hottest Sight for Pictures
Located beside Beitou Hot Spring Park, Thermal Valley is one of the sources supplying the area’s hot springs. The sulfuric steam that blankets the valley year-round gives the valley a scary atmosphere, which contributes to its nickname “Ghost Lake.”
