While it’s possible to reach both Yangmingshan and Tamsui using public transportation, please note that bus services to Yangmingshan are limited, especially on weekends. When the area is crowded, boarding a bus can be difficult, and it’s common to wait for 2–3 buses during the downhill return due to long queues.
