Highlights

Lin An Tai Historical House and Museum
The house is a traditional Chinese courtyard house with elegant decorations, and famous for its delicate carvings. The Lin family came to Taiwan in the 18th century and engaged in trade in northern Taiwan. With the money they made, they built a house and named it. Today, the house is over 160 years old. It is the best-preserved and maintained ancient house in Taipei City.

Taipei Martyrs' Shrine & the Changing of the Guard
The Martyrs' Shrine was built in 1969 and covers a large area. Its grand and magnificent architectural style is similar to that of the Taihe Dian Imperial Palace in Beijing, Mainland China, and symbolizes the martyrs' brave spirit. The changing of the guard ceremony is performed by honored guards during the first five to ten minutes of every hour. Tourists from all around the world wait at the front of The Martyr’s Shrine.

National Palace Museum
One of top 5 most visited worldwide museum. The best place to see the essence of Chinese civilization. Housed in a traditional Chinese building, the huge museum has a rich and extensive collection of artworks from all time period. You'll find the Museum very much visitor-friendly that the antiques and their value can be fully appreciated, and the access to all facilities and exhibits are also easy to reach.

Yangmingshan: World-Class Volcanic View
At 1,000m above sea level, Yangmingshan is famous for its sulfurous rocks, natural hot springs, volcanic fumaroles, and extensive network of hiking trails. Whether it’s relaxing in the hot springs or hiking through seasonal plants and flowers, Yangmingshan is a great spot to soak in Taiwan’s most beautiful natural scenery.

Volcanic Fumaroles & Sulfurous Rocks – Small Oil Pit
Like Yellowstone National Park. It's definitely a sight to behold seeing plumes of steam and volcanic gases venting out of the side of a hill. You can hike to the the highest point in Taipei. Absolutely spectacular!

Valley of the Sun: Qingtiangang Meadow
Great view with fresh air though a bit chilly and windy right after the winter season. Good for leisure walk, family picnic activities and so relaxing to be able to spend a few hours up the mountain. Just enjoy the view and the air.
